In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in Camp Lost Boys (the “Program”), a program of The Intentional Man Project Inc., and as consideration for the right to participate in the Program, I (the "Participant") hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Program, and do hereby release and forever discharge The Intentional Man Project, Inc (“I.M.P.”), located at 355 S Grand Ave, Suite 2450, Los Angeles, CA 90071, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors, and assignees (collectively, the “Released Parties”), for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical, or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Program, including traveling to and from an event related to this Program.
I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE AFOREMENTIONED PROGRAM AND I'M PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM ENTIRELY AT MY OWN RISK. NONETHELESS, I ASSUME ALL RELATED RISKS, BOTH KNOWN OR UNKNOWN TO ME, OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROGRAM, INCLUDING TRAVEL TO, FROM, AND DURING THIS PROGRAM.
Camp Lost Boys
Camp Lost Boys is the flagship program of The Intentional Man Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Camp Lost Boys provides a shared space for community-building and recreation. I understand that I.M.P. rents campgrounds for use during the Program, and that I.M.P. does not own or operate any of the facilities involved. I.M.P. provides access to these facilities, and to the Activities and experiences that occur at the facilities, but is in no way liable for any incidents that occur during the Program.
Minors
I understand that the Program is an event only for individuals 18 and older.
Cell Service/Internet Connection
I understand there will be limited access to cell service/internet connections while at the Program. The Program does not guarantee nor is it providing cell service or internet access as part of the event. We encourage all Participants to unplug and enjoy being in the present moment.
Medical Waiver & Release
Participants at the Program may seek first aid services. I understand that at Camp Lost Boys, first aid services may be provided by personnel who may not be medical doctors and who will make suggestions only. I assume all responsibility for the decisions I make concerning my health care or in response to suggestions for first aid by personnel at the Program. I consent to have medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the Program, and I authorize I.M.P. and its designated agents and any first aid personnel at the Program to administer emergency first aid, CPR, use any necessary medical devices, and secure emergency medical care or transportation, if deemed necessary by I.M.P. or its designated agent and I agree to be responsible for the payment for all costs of emergency medical care and transportation. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance. I HEREBY RELEASE I.M.P., THE RELEASED PARTIES, AND ANY AND ALL PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN THE PROVISION OF WELLNESS, FIRST AID, OR ANY MEDICAL TREATMENT TO ME AT THE PROGRAM, FROM ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY RELATING TO PROVIDING SUGGESTIONS TO ME CONCERNING FIRST AID, FOR MY DECISIONS ABOUT WHAT TYPE OF WELLNESS, FIRST AID OR MEDICAL AID TO UTILIZE, AND FOR ANY EMERGENCY FIRST AID THAT IS PROVIDED TO ME. In addition, I acknowledge it is my sole responsibility to provide any medical information regarding any pre-existing conditions I may have, medications I may be taking, or other key treatment-related information to I.M.P. and any staff at the Program. If my condition could result in my losing consciousness at any time, I must also at all times wear a medical alert bracelet or other condition identifying marker commonly known to medical professionals in order to aid in their treatment of my condition. Failure to do so will be determined to be negligence on my part in connection with any medical event.
Photography and Confidentiality
By entering the Program, I, and all participants, agree to the following terms, conditions, and guidelines for Confidentiality and Photography, including still photographs, audio and video recordings (hereinafter “Imagery”).
I.M.P. takes individual and community privacy and safety very seriously. All information about campground location, including name and address, is confidential.
All information about fellow Participants, including names and any other information, is confidential and cannot be shared with anyone without the express permission of the Participant. Any and all photographing or videoing of other Participants without their express permission is forbidden.
Sharing the address or location of the Program, or geotagging posts or photos on any social media platform, is forbidden. I understand that violation of this rule can result in immediate actions, including my removal from the Premises, without refund, as determined by I.M.P. in its sole discretion.
I understand that I cannot share the name, location, or any other information about the campground location with anyone, before, during, or after the Event.
I understand that no photography, audio, or video recording of any kind is permitted during any facilitated chats, group gatherings, Activities, or other parts of the Program (except by official I.M.P. documentarians as described below). An individual or a group is allowed to grant an exception to this policy, but the photographer is required to ask and obtain consent of any person(s) who may be included (directly or indirectly) in the Imagery.
Any Imagery obtained at the Program is for limited, personal use only. This means that Imagery cannot be used for non-personal purposes, such as advertising or commercial purposes, magazine articles, or news articles. “Personal Use,” is defined to include: (1) sharing with friends and family; (2) displaying on personal websites (as long as the website does not sell any product or service, and does not purport or appear to be an official website of the Program or I.M.P.); and (3) displaying on personal accounts on photo sharing and social networking websites, such as Instagram and Facebook (as long as the display of the Imagery on these sites is not commercial or promotional in any manner and the account is not affiliated with any commercial enterprise); provided however that in any such display of images, the use will be considered “Personal Use” only if the group of followers or website visitors is not inordinately large, which shall be determined by I.M.P. in its sole discretion. In any dispute between us, I agree that I.M.P. may determine, in its sole discretion, whether any use of Imagery is for Personal Use or not. I UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THAT I MAY NOT MAKE ANY USE OF PROGRAM IMAGERY WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM I.M.P., OTHER THAN PERSONAL USE (as defined above). I understand that I have no right to sell, transfer, license, sublicense, or give my Imagery to any other party, except for Personal Use, and I agree to inform anyone to whom I give any Imagery that it can only be used for Personal Use. I understand that I may not use or allow any Imagery to be used in any media article, newspaper article, video, blog, advertisement or promotional materials, except with the prior written consent of I.M.P. I understand that if I record Imagery with the intention to utilize it for non-personal use, I will be trespassing, and that trespassers have no rights to any use of Imagery, and I.M.P. reserves the right to take any necessary action against trespassers. I understand that I.M.P. has no obligation to grant written permission to any person under this Paragraph, and that I.M.P. may deny any request for use of Imagery in its sole discretion.
If I.M.P. notifies me that any images must be removed, for any reason whatsoever in I.M.P.'s sole discretion, I will promptly remove or cause to be removed those images.
I understand that any Imagery I obtain for my personal use can only be displayed on personal accounts on photo sharing and social networking websites, such as Instagram and Facebook, if it does not share the address or geotag the location of the Program, or feature any other Participants, or if those featured Participants have given express permission for that specific Imagery to be shared in that manner and instance.
If I.M.P. has authorized documentarians at the Program, they will only be authorized to take Imagery of participants who have offered their express consent and signed formal “Permission to Photograph” waivers. No other Participants will be featured in any Imagery by any authorized documentarians.

If a participant violates this Code of Conduct, C.L.B. staff reserve the right to deny the participant entry to C.L.B. or to remove them from the premises. In such instances, no refunds will be given.
Release & Waiver of Liability
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless I.M.P. against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by me or by anyone else acting on my behalf. If I.M.P. incurs any of these types of expenses, I Agree to reimburse I.M.P.
I acknowledge that I.M.P. and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of I.M.P.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS PROGRAM MAY INVOLVE A TEST OF A PERSON’S PHYSICAL AND MENTAL LIMITS AND MAY CARRY WITH IT THE POTENTIAL FOR DEATH, SERIOUS INJURY, AND PROPERTY LOSS. The risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, lack of hydration, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic and actions of others, including but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials and event monitors, and/or producers of the event.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS “WAIVER AND RELEASE” AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE AND DISCHARGE I.M.P. FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for negligence, this release is also for negligence on the part of I.M.P., its agents, and employees.
In the event that any damage to equipment or facilities occurs as a result of my willful actions, neglect, or recklessness, I acknowledge and agree to be held liable for any and all costs associated with any actions of neglect or recklessness.
This Agreement was entered into at arm’s-length, without duress or coercion, and is to be interpreted as an Agreement between two parties of equal bargaining strength. Both the Participant and The Intentional Man Project agree that this Agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms, and that no other evidence will be used or admitted to alter or explain the terms of this Agreement, but that it will be interpreted based on the language in accordance with the purposes for which it is entered into.
In the event that any provision contained within this Release of Liability shall be deemed to be severable or invalid, or if any term, condition, phrase, or portion of this Agreement shall be determined to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect so long as the clause severed does not affect the intent of the parties. If a court should find that any provision of this Agreement to be invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting said provision it would become valid and enforceable, then said provision shall be deemed to be written, construed and enforced as so limited.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, I, the undersigned Participant, affirm that I am of the age of 18 years or older, and that I am freely entering into this Agreement. I certify that I have read this Agreement, that I fully understand its content, and that this release cannot be modified orally. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract and that I am agreeing to it of my own freewill.

I understand and agree that there are certain risks of personal or property injury, illness and/or death associated with attending the Program due to risks related to COVID-19. I understand and agree (a) that the risk of exposure to COVID-19 cannot be fully eliminated and is increased by proximity to other people, (b) that an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place or place where people are gathered, (c) that attending the Program may involve coming into close contact with other people, (d) that there is no guarantee, express or implied, that I will not be exposed to COVID-19, and (e) that exposure to COVID-19 can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, illness, disability, and other short-term and long-term health effects, including death. Revocable License
I understand that any ticket or entry credential, and my entry upon the host campground’s location (the “Premises”) and to the Program, grants only a revocable license, which is permissive in nature, and that my permissive use of the Property and participation in the Program may be revoked at any time for any reason, and upon notice of such revocation, I will immediately become a mere trespasser upon the Premises, at which time I understand I.M.P. may use all lawful means to remove me from the Premises, including with the assistance of local law enforcement agencies. I understand that failure to comply with any of the regulations set forth in these terms and conditions subjects the Participant to eviction from the Premises and the Program, without any refund of any purchase price, and that I.M.P. may bar the holder from entry in future Programs.
Current Version of Terms & Conditions Apply
I understand that these Terms and Conditions may be changed by I.M.P. prior to the Program, and if so, the revised Terms and Conditions posted online will apply to me. My use of a ticket or other entry credential for entry to the Program signifies my binding agreement to the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of my entry to the Program.
Terms & Conditions
I acknowledge that if I violate any aspect of these Terms & Conditions or any other C.L.B. rules, I can be removed from the event with no re-entry or refund. I confirm that these Terms & Conditions supersede any and all previous, oral, or written promises, or agreements regarding the subject matter hereof (including any statements made on the Program website) and understand that this is the entire agreement between me and the Released Parties as to the subject matter hereof and cannot be modified or changed in any way except in a writing signed by an authorized representative of I.M.P. I expressly agree that these Terms & Conditions are intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of California and that if a portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect.
